As a family, we fell in love with this one-of-a-kind property the moment we saw it. Hidden away amongst lakes and woodland, it felt like our own secret retreat… yet it was right on our doorstep.

At first, we imagined it as our forever home. We pictured peaceful mornings by the water, evenings by the firepit, and celebrations that would fill the house with laughter for years to come. But the more that we visited, we realised something: this place was simply too special to keep to ourselves.

And so, Merry Lakes was born. We poured our hearts into upgrading and enhancing the space, keeping all its character while adding the comforts, facilities, and thoughtful touches that make a stay here unforgettable. Today, it’s a place designed for bringing people together, whether that’s for a hen weekend, a milestone birthday, a family reunion, a corporate retreat or simply a long-overdue catch-up with friends.
